THE(FASHION)HASH GOES TO AMSTERDAM - DAY 2

Photobucket

(topshop hat, comptoir des cotonniers coat, bdg pants, in search of little sadie boots)

finally, more footage from my amsterdam adventure! ryan and i rented bikes for the second half of our trip, which was, like the entire weekend, "seriously, so fun". plus it made our extensive exploring a lot easier, especially for a girl who never seems to pack practical footwear. we even discovered some incredible, non-touristy spots, from romantic enclaves to futuristic playgrounds; amsterdam is truly a gem of a city. it's barely been a week and i'm already missing my new york bestie, good thing i'll be meeting him in brussels this friday for round 2! those of you who've been/live there, any wining/dining/shopping suggestions? oh, and expect amsterdam part 3 soon!

  4. Have you been to the Nine Streets area yet? Best shopping by far, and a wonderful experience! Episode is the coolest vintage store I've ever shopped at--they remake vintage things into different styles. There's a bead store across the street where you can sit and create one-of-a-kind pieces with an amazing selection, definitely check it out!

  6. Ooooh, you're going to Brussels?! You'll love it there! It's Paris but in smaller haha! You have to go to Rue Antoine Dansaert (near to the Bourse) where you'll find the Belgian designers and the vintage shop (Rue des Chartreux, around the corner of the Kartell shop). The Rue Neuve (metro Debrouckere) and Porte de Namur (metro Porte de Namur) is where you'll find all the basis shops (H&M, Zara, Pull&Bear, Mango, etc.). Cimtière d'Ixelles is where all the student go out (bus 71 or 95 to Cimtière d'Ixelles). You have to visit Delirium (More than 3000 kinds of beer and you can see Jeaneke Pis, the wife of Manneken Pis), the Grande Place (most beautiful of Europe), Manneken Pis (you might be dissapointed, he's very little), Celtica (Beer for one euro) and moooooooore. Quick is our McDonald, it's better than McDonald though!

    Hope this helps :)
