tuesday seems like a good day to post about beauty, partly because it's my only morning without class, but mostly cuz i say so (this is MY VIRTUAL KINGDOM MWAHAHA cackle). today i was inspired by rodarte. for me, the i-slept-in-my-makeup look usually only appears on the weekends, and definitely not on purpose, so i figured this would be an experiment in proper blending and perfectionist restraint.
here's my take - this look is great for those who don't have watery eyes (you lucky bastards). for a night out? super cute. for sweating on the subway with seasonal allergies? PROCEED WITH CAUTION. i do love the clean face (no blush, it's a first!), and the rich brown eyeshadow definitely suits lighter eyes. but at the end of the day, i think it looked better on the runway (done by a professional, not a newb). what say you?
p.s. bid adieu to my hair as you know it! tomorrow. it's happening. ;)
so beautiful! ...but it's not for me since I have watery eyes. :( my mascara always smudges along my lower lids by the end of the day.

I love this look on you !! but it's not for me--it's hard to wear shadow on my lower lash line since I have sensitive eyes.
